The Battle of Vimy Ridge: What Does it Mean to You?

The Lacombe and District Historical Society is pleased to release its first ever online survey.

As part of the Society's Canada 150 community memory project, this survey aims to capture the significance of the Battle of Vimy Ridge in 2017!

What does the battle mean for people in 2017, at the 100th anniversary? That is the question that this survey attempts to answer.

Members of the public are invited to complete the survey online at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/D3H8BF3

OR to complete one of the paper copies provided at the Museum. Paper copies are available on request by contacting (403) 782-3933.

Results will be featured in Reflections on Vimy, an exhibit which will be on display at the Lacombe Memorial Center during August and September 2017, as well as online at the Historical Society's Virtual Exhibit page. Furthermore, the results from this survey will be collected and retained by the Lacombe and District Historical society for exhibits, research, and other uses.  All responses to the survey will remain anonymous.

The survey will remain open until 5:00pm on Friday, April 14th, 2017.

If you have any questions or comments, feel free to contact us at maski@telusplanet.net or phone us at (403)782-3933.
